  • Mandy Arroyo - a brand designer and illustrator based in Portland, Oregon.

I help passionate business owners primarily in the food, outdoors, and lifestyle industries connect to more of their ideal customers.

When I’m not designing or drawing, I’m probably sewing or out in the mountains backpacking with my husband and our dog, Luna.

What To Know About SEO

  • Sarah’s path was set in the days of the Old Internet, after she built her very first webpage in 1995. She was raised in an unusually tech-savvy household and went on to get a B.S. in Multimedia Design from the University of Oregon. Upswept was born out of Sarah’s side-hustle as a photographer, where she often found herself seized by the irrepressible urge to help her photography clients improve their websites.

In her spare time, she can be found lifting heavy barbells, learning to referee roller derby, cuddling her spicy meatball of a 1-year-old, and giving all the pets to her affectionate and extremely food-motivated tuxedo cat, Zergling.

  • What to Know about SEO. Have you ever asked for help with SEO on your website? Are you not entirely sure you even know what that means? If so, you're not alone!

    In this workshop, we'll cover:

    • what SEO actually is, and why the old tricks no longer work
    • what *really* matters in your website's SEO
    • the basics on tech aspects of SEO that you can control
    • how to start exploring key search terms for your business"
